OUR ROLE

Orlando's Local Champion Since 2012

We started small, with just 13 books mailed in November 2012. Today the program reaches hundreds of children every month, funded largely members of the community, local business and civic partners, grants, and the Taste of College Park.

We began with a pilot program in our own zip code, 32804. In 2020, we expanded to 32805, 32808, and 32810, which includes Pine Hills, Lockhart, and Rosemont.

YOUR SUPPORT

Dream With Us

Dolly’s legacy as our Dreamer-in-Chief will always inspire our work with her Imagination Library. But as another dreamer who helped shape our community put it:

It takes a lot of money to make these dreams come true.
~Walt Disney

When we enroll a child, we’ve promised them a book every month until their fifth birthday. We only accept an enrollment when the funding is in hand to see that promise all the way through.

This means the size of our dream is set by what we can fund. There are far more Orlando children who could be in this program than we’re able to enroll right now, and closing that gap is our mission.

Every gift moves us closer. Dream a little bigger with us.
