History and Beneficiaries of the Taste of College Park

Taste of College Park 2024 will be held on October 10, 2024 at the Historic Dubsdread Ballroom and Patio

The 21st Annual Taste of College Park Food & Wine Festival will be held October 10, 2024. Taste of College Park is the primary fund-raising event for the Rotary Club of College Park Foundations, Inc. Taste of College Park combines food, wine, music, and silent and live auctions for an extraordinary evening in College Park. Nineteen local restaurants and distributors provide the food, beer and wine. Local retailers supply items for the auctions. College Park businesses and Rotary Club members sell over 400 tickets.

Beneficiaries of the net proceeds from Taste of College Park include:

  • Ronald McDonald House of Central Florida provides a free home environment for children and families at AdventHealth Orlando in College Park.
  • Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library mails free, high-quality books to children from birth until they begin school, no matter the family’s income.
  • The PolioPlus Initiative of Rotary International whose goal is to eradicate polio throughout the world.
  • The Christian Service Center of Central Florida is dedicated to preventing homelessness and combating poverty through emergency crisis assistance and housing resources for neighbors in need.
  • One Heart for Women & Children provides resources for Central Florida families as they transition through and overcome hardships of daily living.
  • Rotary Club of College Park Local Youth Projects including Student of the Month awards, and annual scholarships to local graduating seniors.
